Designed by Philippe Starck in the early 1990s for Alfi, the Hot Fredo thermos transforms a utilitarian object into a sculptural form. The body, made of molded plastic, is finished in a rare taupe color. Its distinctive profile recalls a bird, with a beak-like spout that rotates to open and close.
The Hot Fredois part of the design collection of The Museum of Modern Art, New York, underscoring its cultural and design significance.
